What Can Our Passwords Teach Us About Life After Death!

Have you ever wondered what it would feel like to get hacked? To have your personal privacy breached without your permission? For a stranger to have access to sensitive information like your bank accounts, emails with business partners and possibly access to even more passwords? At some point, we have all seen the impact this illegal activity has had in the lives of people we love.

On the 24th of November, 2014, a major cyber attack hit Sony Pictures, the hackers got access to very sensitive information about the salaries of employees, private conversations, medical information and then leaked 47,000 social security numbers, it was one of the worst things that could have ever happened to them.

Unreleased movies were put online for free, costing the company billions of dollars in potential revenue. All of this happened because of a password breach, someone left the door open for these cyber criminals to penetrate into the heart of Sony Pictures.

After this story broke, i remember making my passwords a lot harder, i added Capital Letters, Numbers & Symbols to them, but as i was typing out the new password for my facebook account, something happened, i was told "Password Incorrect". That day, i learnt an important lesson that would stick with me forever.

Here it is, you can know all the characters of your password, but if they are not typed in the right sequence, it will always be incorrect. "DwayneCarter01*" & "DwayneCarter*01" contain the same characters, but will never give you access to my Facebook account.

Have you ever asked yourself what Gods password is? What gives you access to the Creator of the Universe? These 2 words "eJssu" & "Juses" both contain the characters of the password, unfortunately, a lot of people have been left frustrated typing it in the wrong sequence.

They have keyed in passwords that are totally dependent on their church attendance, their prayers, fasting & night vigils, their tithes & offerings, the gifts they give to the poor and so on, but Romans 3:21 & 22 gives us the password in the sequence that we need:

"But now God has shown us a way to be made right with Him without keeping the requirements of the law, as was promised in the writings of Moses and the prophets long ago. We are made right with God by placing our faith in Jesus Christ. And this is true for everyone who believes, no matter who we are"

I can't imagine Mark Zuckerberg giving me his password, but the Creator of the Universe has freely given it to anyone, who would type it in the right sequence "J E S U S C H R I S T"
The moment you type it in, you would immediately have access to EVERYTHING!!! What you do with that access is now up to you

Action Plan:

As you can see from the verse quoted, Jesus Christ alone does not give you access, "Faith" in Him does. It is not enough to believe with our heads, we also need to Believe with our Hearts. It's not enough to know the password, we also have to physcially type it in to gain access.

The advertising companies have figured this out, they already know that whatever we SEE & HEAR consistently over time with eventually enter our HEARTS and Transform us into customers. The same principle is applicable here (Matthew 13:15). If you can SEE & HEAR about Jesus consistently over time, you will have Faith in Him!!!

So, my question to you is, what are you listening to? what are you looking at? You alone determine the state of your heart!!!
There are Christian tv stations like Daystar & TBN, why don't you commit to listening to them for 30minutes everyday, study the word for 15mins...there is no way you can remain the same!

Oh, and one more thing, the moment your screen says "Password Accepted", you can never be signed out!!! (Hebrews 13:5)
