Lewis Hamilton Wins His 4th World Title With A Lesson For All Of Us

On the 29th of October 2017, 32 year old Lewis Hamilton became Britains most successful driver with 4 world titles to his name, and is now just 3 Championships away from equaling the record set by the Legend Michael Schumacher who retired at the age of 43.
These men have built their brands racing cars that can hit top speeds of 350mph, the same speed needed for a plane to take off. It is an extremely dangerous & technical sport, one mistake could cost you the Championship - maybe even your life.

Something stunned me recently, i discovered there wasn't much difference between our regular cars & the formula 1 racing cars, they both have engines, gear boxes, suspensions, wheels, brakes & tires...so, what makes these cars SO FAST???

In a recent interview, T.D.Jakes recalled a moment at a board meeting. He was in a room filled with CEOs and top executives from different industries discussing the future of the City of Dallas, Texas, then one of CEOs made a statement that would completely blow his mind, he said;

"We all know it's not where we are trying to go that is the problem, the real problem is, what are we willing to leave behind to get there?"

That line hit me like a tonne of bricks, because i realise everyone wants to be successful, but very few people are asking the real question: "What Am I Willing To Give Up To Get It?"

I sincerely doubt the CEO of Amazon, Jeff Bezos watches 'Scandal' or 'Game of Thrones' every week
I don't believe he gets more than 8hours sleep a day, he definitely doesn't go out clubbing every weekend popping bottles...he would love to do these things, i am sure he would actually enjoy them, but these are some of the things he had to be willing to leave behind just to get where he is today.

What about you? What are you willing to give up? When you don't forgive and walk around with guilt and shame from your past, the weight go this excess baggage will eventually slow you down in your journey through life.

Matthew 11:28 "Then Jesus said, come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest"

The only reason Lewis Hamilton is able to move as fast as a plane while sitting in a car, is because, his Mercedes has answered the question. It has dropped its extra seats, the extra doors, the boot & even its size, just so it can stay light and fast enough to achieve its goals.

I would encourage you to ask that same question today, your destiny depends on it!!!
What are you willing to leave behind???
