Will All Your Hardwork Ever Be Good Enough?

A few years ago, a guy approached me and downloaded all his life issues to me in 5mins, he was married with 2 kids, had no job & his rent was due, he didn't ask for money, he asked for  an opportunity, a job...so in my mind, he was a serious candidate.

Lucky for him I was looking for someone to help out with my website, so i asked him if he knew how to use the computer and internet...he said "Absolutely", i then told him to resume at the office in a few days.
When he came, i told him to go to a certain website...and then he froze, that is Firefox right there, click it...he looked at me confused, this is when i knew i had made a blunder, this guy had never used a computer before.

Over the next few months, i slowly trained him to do what i wanted, but there were always silly mistakes he made, but one day he made a comment that struck me, he had made one of his usual blunders again and i was upset, then he said "at least i'm getting better"...and i thought you are so far from where you are supposed to be, even your little achievements are too small for commendation.

Here's my point, a lot of us try to be cool with God by keeping His commandments, but James 1:20 says if we keep all the laws but break one of them, we are guilty of breaking all...who then has a chance to be made right with God? Who has a chance to make heaven? Is that why a lot of you have given up on this God thing? Has the guilt of not living up to His standard paralyzed your efforts of getting to know Him? i used to be there, but - Please read these verses carefully from Romans 3:20-22

"For no one can ever be made right with God by doing what the law commands. The law simply shows us how sinful we are.....We are made right with God by placing our faith in Jesus Christ. And this is true for everyone who believes, no matter who we are"

This is the Good News, Jesus is the difference...you can try to go to church every sunday, pay tithes, pray and fast...but just like my employee, you will still always fall short. It is only when you truly believe that Jesus Christ sacrificed His life for you, that God accepts you as His child.
The message is simple, we are the ones who try to complicate it!!!
